Overview
NurseLens is an advanced AI-powered clinical decision support system for wound care. It leverages next-generation multimodal LLMs (like OpenAI's GPT-4o and xAI's Grok-beta) to analyze wound images, track healing progress, and generate structured clinical reports. The project features a strict structured output pipeline driven by Pydantic schemas and a flexible Facade/Strategy pattern allowing seamless switching between AI models. It natively incorporates a Chain-of-Thought (CoT) reasoning block for rigorous clinical rationale before final output generation. The system integrates via a FastAPI backend and a Streamlit dashboard, functioning as the core intelligent engine of the wider NurseLens platform.
